Why Becoming Wealthy Should NOT Be Your First Goal

/ by

If you’ve been involved in entrepreneurship for any amount of time you’ve probably been told to set huge goals, dream big, stay positive, and then everything will come true.

Most people get started with the plan of getting rich so they can live the ultimate lifestyle.

In this post, I’m gonna talk about why this is a BAD plan and why becoming wealthy should NOT be your first goal…

So, what should you do instead?

In my opinion, the thing you should focus on is becoming FINANCIALLY FREE.

This means your passive income is higher than your expenses. You then have the ability to work towards becoming wealthy with no pressure of not being able to pay the bills. Passive income can be in the form of investments (real estate, stocks, etc) or from businesses you own.

Your number 1 goal at the start should be creating income streams that produce enough to cover your everyday expenses like rent, car, and food. The number you need to get to is different for everyone, but my goal when I was getting started was $4000/month.

When I quit my job and dropped out of school I had about $1700 in the bank and close to $10,000 in school debt, so I had to figure something out quick. I had no doubt I’d manage but I didn’t know where to start.

I started creating passive income when I was 21 years old after reading the book Rich Dad Poor Dad, and by the time I was 22, I hit my $4000/month goal. I didn’t have a whole lot of expenses at the time, so it didn’t take too long to get to. Plus I didn’t have a job or school to go to.

Ever since then I’ve been adding and growing different sources of income and my future goal is to create a 7-figure online business.

How I Got Started

The very first business I got started with Kindle publishing. I found a training program online, watched the sales video and was instantly hooked. Within 60 days I was around $3200/month…then $5000…then $7000.

At 22 years old I was financially free…

It was a pretty cool feeling being able to make money from home while I had all the time in the world to do whatever I wanted. The only thing was I eventually got bored.

That’s when I created Passive Income Assignment.

I wanted to share what I was working on with others and hopefully help them get the same results. I wanted to share not only my Kindle strategies but also ideas I was learning from books and courses I was going through.

Because I was already generating passive income from my first business I was able to build my blog, make content, add other income streams (Kindle, affiliate marketing, create a product) and more recently start my Youtube channel.

By not having a job it’s made it way easier to focus on creating wealth, but your FIRST goal should be replacing your current income with passive income. Work towards your first $1000, then replacing your 9-5 income. Once you have that you can start building wealth.

That’s the way I look at becoming rich.

How I Make A Full-Time Income Online: Blogging & Youtube

/ by / Tags: ,

In my opinion, having a “home base” on the internet is a must have for anyone looking to be successful. Your home base could be a blog or website. This is basically just a place to let people know who you are and what you have to offer. A website is something you can fully control and nobody can take that away from you. Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube can all block your account if they don’t like something (it happens all the time).

Having my blog and creating content has allowed me to start building up my brand and following. Trust is a huge part of being successful online, and a blog is a great way to not only build trust but also to make more money. My blog sends people to my kindle books, affiliate offers, and my own products.

When I was 21 years old I started reading a lot of books. Business books, self-development books, and motivational books. I always thought it’d be pretty cool to have a website where I reviewed all the books I was reading and had affiliate links to Amazon. That’s where Passive Income Assignment started.

After I started having success with kindle publishing I thought it’d be a good idea to start sharing some of the strategies I was using to make money. I started creating blog posts about different kindle topics and then put an affiliate link to the kindle course I went through.

I started getting a bit of traction after 4 or 5 months and saw how powerful a blog could be if I put more time into creating content. So that’s what I did. I started looking into content creation strategies and came across a guy called Gary Vaynerchuk. What he talked about is documenting over creation. This simply meant documenting your journey in building your business is a lot more powerful.

That’s when I started documenting everything going on in my business. Strategies, products, goals, etc. Not only did creating content help me remember more of what I was learning, but it also was helping others which was pretty cool.

I quickly learned that helping others do what I was doing was a passion of mine. I had no idea that sharing my journey and what I was learning would have an impact on others. This allowed me to start building up my following and start building relationships with others. This is a super powerful part of having success online.

Have you ever heard the saying, “If you helps others get what they want, you can have what you want?” The way I see things now is the more value I provide the more I’ll get in return.

I just wanna point out that blogging is NOT passive and requires a lot of time. The reason I do it is because I enjoy it. Most of what I do now is creating blog posts and videos. Don’t get involved in blogging if you’re looking for quick income or if it’s not something you want to do for the long run.

Blogging doesn’t feel like work to me, it’s more of a hobby that I plan on doing for the rest of my life. Documenting my journey from zero to a million is a pretty cool thing.

There’s a few different ways I make money with blogging and YouTube. Here’s some of the ways I do that:

  • Kindle books.
  • Affiliate marketing.
  • Information products

When you give someone value and help them solve a problem, most of them will want to know more about you and what you have to offer. I use my kindle books to promote my blog and my blog to promote my kindle books.

I do blog posts and videos about “How To’s” or reviews and sometimes will link relevant products or services that would help them. This is called affiliate marketing. If they end up buying the product I’d receive a commission.

For example, If I did a post on how to make money with kindle publishing I could include a link to the kindle course I went through. Cool right?

I also use my blog to build my email list (your businesses most important asset). This is a list of my subscriber’s email address so I can stay in contact with them. I can share all my new content and even send them affiliate offers.

There’s a bunch of different ways to make money blogging and making videos, and I’ll go through some below.

I’m gonna go through the 8 steps you need to take to start making money with blogging & YouTube. This is what I did and if you follow them and stick with it for the long term you’ll have a lot of success. No doubt about it. Here’s the steps:

Step 1: Pick A Niche You’re Passionate About

  • I can’t stress enough how important it is to be passionate about what you’re blogging about. This is long term thing so make sure you won’t get tired of it after a few months.
  • Make sure there’s a big enough market out there. The big niches are health, wealth, and relationships, but there’s a lot more. Most niches have money to be made but just make sure there’s a decent number of people interested.

Step 2: Pick A Name For Your Blog

  • Make sure blog name is related to the niche you’re in. Mine has Passive Income in it because I’m in the make money niche.
  • A shorter name is better since people can remember.
  • Make sure .com is available.

Step 3: Get Your Domain Name, Hosting, And Set Up WordPress Blog

Step 4: Pick A Theme For Your Blog

  • Pick a theme you like. WordPress has a bunch of free themes you can pick (don’t stress over the look at the start).
  • Get a simple logo created at Fiverr for $5.

Step 5: Start Creating Content

  • This is where the majority of your time should be spent. The more HIGH-QUALITY content you put out the better (at least 1 post per week).
  • Your content needs to be INSANELY good.
  • Don’t talk like a robot. Write like you’re having a conversation with the reader.
  • Turn that blog post into a YouTube video and embed it on your site.
  • The more the better, but make sure it’s good.

Step 6: Share Your Content

  • Start sharing your content on whatever social media platform you’re on.

Step 7: Set Up Email List

  • Create an email opt-in form on your site to start collecting email addresses.
  • Create something to give away for free (E-Book, report, PDF, video, etc) in exchange for their email address.
  • Use NowLifestyle to collect the email and set up an autoresponder sequence (these are automated emails that are sent to people who subscribe).
  • Share new content with the people subscribing to your list.

Step 8: Start Monetizing

  • Once you’re getting a consistent amount of visitors per day you can think about monetizing your site.
  • Don’t start right away because nobody will be visiting your site at the start.
  • Use affiliate marketing, and kindle publishing to start making money.
  • Focus on building your following FIRST and serving them FIRST. Then you can focus on making money. Hard to do but it’s a must.

These are the steps I took to create Passive Income Assignment. It took me a long time and a lot of effort but was definitely worth it!

How I Make A Full-Time Income Online: Affiliate Marketing

/ by / Tags:

If you asked me what’s the best way to go from zero to a full-time income online it would be affiliate marketing.

Affiliate marketing is when you promote someone else’s product or service and then get paid anytime someone buys through you. It’s a pretty simple concept because you don’t need to create the product or service yourself. All you have to do is send people to someone else’s website and they’ll do all the telling and selling. They create the website, sales page, support, payments, etc…and then they send you a commission after someone buys. Everything is tracked through your unique affiliate link

Pretty cool right? They do all the work and you get paid.

This has been a pretty effective business model for me because I’ve been focusing on building my brand and following through my blog, YouTube channel, and Kindle books. Basically, what I’ve been doing is showing people what I’m doing in my business and what tools/programs I’m using.  If there’s a great course or program that I’ve been through that has helped me, I naturally want to share that with others. By sharing it with others, it’s an opportunity to help someone else with something that I believe in while getting paid a commission for the referral.

I know getting started can be a bit overwhelming for a lot of people so I decided to create a free E-Book and video showing step-by-step how to go from zero to making up to $500 per day with affiliate marketing. This training will show you everything I use in my business and the best place for you to get started. Highly recommend you check it out if affiliate marketing interests you.

How I Make A Full-Time Income Online: Kindle Publishing

/ by / Tags:

If you were to ask me what’s the best way to go from zero to making $50-$100 a day online I’d tell you kindle publishing.

Kindle has been around for a while now but has only become popular over the past couple years. I was able to take the last $1700 in my bank account and turn that into a $7000/month income from Kindle publishing in a short period of time while focusing on it only part-time.

Over the past couple years I’ve discovered a pretty awesome way to publish over 50+ kindle books in a short period of time – all of which I didn’t write myself. And each book I put out creates a monthly passive income each month.

The very first online business I got involved with was kindle publishing back in 2015. If you were to tell me a couple months before that I’d be publishing books on the internet I would have called you crazy. I had no idea that something like this was possible.

I had just quit my job and was looking around the internet for ways to make money online. I came across a YouTube video about a guy making a killing selling books on Amazon. I was instantly hooked and decided to buy his training program. A month after getting started I had around 4 books published and was making sales.

It was crazy because I wasn’t really doing a whole lot and money was coming in each day. Guess that’s the power of passive income eh? I was shocked that 12 hours after publishing my book it started getting sales. It seemed too easy!

I started putting out 1 book per week and quickly saw my income grow to a couple hundred bucks per month. I figured that if I was putting out 1 book per week and making a couple hundred, what if I put out 2 books per week?

So that’s what I did. I started putting out 2 books per week, 3 books per week, and finally 4 books per week. 60 days later I had built an income of $3200/month passive income.

The reason I was able to put out so many books is because they were short (30-40 pages). Short books like this that solve a problem are super popular right now. Nobody wants to spend weeks reading a non-fiction book anymore.

Everything was outsourced. The book writing process, cover design, editing, etc. All I had to do was upload the book to Amazon.

A few months later my income hit $6000/month…and then finally $7000.

And over the past few years, I’ve been learning and implementing new strategies to automate the majority of the business. People started asking about what I was doing and wanted me to teach them all about it. That was pretty cool.

I had found something that actually WORKED. People wanted to know more. The only thing was I had a limited amount of time in the day and couldn’t help everyone while running my business.

I decided to create my own course teaching people step-by-step how to make money with kindle. It’s called Self Publishing Assignment. It’s been crazy how many people have been able to quit their job because of kindle and how I’ve been able to help people do that.

The kindle income method has 6 primary steps and this is what I teach in my SPA program but in much more detail. I wrote some notes on each step below as well.

Click Here To Learn More About Self Publishing Assignment

The entire process is pretty simple and straightforward and an entire book can go from idea to published in less than a week (depending on where you get it done). Obviously, if you want to write it yourself it will take longer but that’s not part of my process. The most important parts are steps 1-4, and this is the part where I spend 80% of my time. Here is the general process:

Step 1: Keyword Research

This is the MOST important part since this sets you up for either success or failure. This is where you see if your book will make money or not BEFORE it is even written. Keyword research is when you search on Amazon to see if your book niche is popular, and how much competition you will have. This is essential because if nobody is searching for your niche, it doesn’t matter how good and well written your book is, nobody will buy it.

I generally will spend 1 or 2 days out of the month and come up with a list of potential books to get created. I come up with a list of 10-20 book ideas, and once that’s done, I’ll send my favorite out to be done.

Step 2: Title Creation

This is the second important step that will either make or break your book. The title of your book is key, not only for selling but also for keyword ranking on Amazon. Your title needs to be attractive and draw in the potential reader. Your title has to show them that your book will solve their problem. Not only this but your title also has to have keywords in it to rank high on the Amazon site. You could have the best book written, but if nobody can find it, how well do you think it will do?

Step 3: Cover Creation

This is a major step in the process because the cover is the first thing that draws a person in. When they’re searching through the site, the first thing that will catch their attention is the cover. This means your cover needs to be visually appealing and stand out from everyone else. It needs to be unique, clean and simple. Covers can be made from as little as $5. This is all a cover costs me.

Step 4: Book Description

After your cover gets the readers attention, and the title draws them in, the next thing they will look at is the description. This means your description has to tell them what the book is about and how it will solve their problem. Your description should be lengthy and outline every major benefit they will get from reading your book and how your book is better than everyone else’s.

Step 5: Outsource Book

There are many different sites out there that you can send your book to in order to be written. There are companies that can do this, or you can hire an outsourcer on freelance websites. I’ve done both and I prefer dealing with the companies. All that’s required of me is to send them the title, and length of the book. They will research and take care of everything.

My books always start out at about 5000 words and then I usually will go back and add more words to the book once it’s selling. 5000 is a good starting length because it allows you to test the market and see how well the book will sell without jumping head first and spending a lot of money. The whole idea should be to keep costs low at the start. A 5000-word book will cost me a total of around $55-65 (total for everything).

Step 6: Edit and Publish Your Book

Once your book is done, it’s time to edit your book and upload it to Amazon. This is very easy and can be done and live on Amazon in hours. The awesome thing about ebooks is that you can always fix things and upload a new file. This means your book doesn’t have to be perfect before you put it out. You can always go back and make it better or fix spelling mistakes. Just remember, done is better than perfect. Don’t wait for your book to be perfect because it never will be.

Step 7: Promote and Get Reviews

Once your book is live on Amazon it’s time to start getting some sales. I always start my book at $0.99 and this is because you need to get as many sales and reviews as possible in the shortest amount of time to rank high on Amazon. I usually do this for about a week and once I have some reviews I’ll do a free promotion. This is where you give your book away for free for 5 days. The object of this is to get a bunch of sales in a few days and boost your book up the ranks. After the promo, I usually either push up my price to $2.99 or $4.95.

There you have it. That’s basically the entire process of Kindle Publishing. Seems pretty easy right? You’re probably thinking now that there must be more. While that is the entire process, I would recommend further education on the process in more detail. I’m now going to share with you the course I took to learn how to do this. This course was great, it walked me step by step through the process and it was incredibly easy to follow along. This course shows you everything you need to know, from where to get the books written, covers done, and how to promote your book.

The great thing about kindle is that the possibilities are endless. Want to make an extra thousand per month? Done. How about 3k? Done. What If you want to quit your job and make six figures from publishing? That is absolutely achievable. The amount of money is determined by how much time you put into it and how many books you have. The more books the more money you’ll make.

The minimum that I expect each of my books to make is $50/month. That’s kinda an average number because some of my books make $30/month, and others make up to $500/month. Each book sells for around $2.99 and you get 70% of that. 25 sales per month would be around $50. My books cost anywhere from $50-$100 to get created so my goal is to break even at month 2 at the latest.

So basically, the first month or two you publish a book, you’ll break even, which is completely fine. After 2 months you’ll have your investment back and it’s pure profit after that. Think about this…if 1 book makes you $50/month at the minimum, that’s over $600 a year from 1 book!

At $100/month that’s $1200/year…$200/month is $2400/year…not too bad?

If you could create books like this making $50-$100/month, how many would you make? I know for me it’d be A LOT!

I saw how powerful this business model was and decided to create around 50 books in different niches and they helped me earn over $7000/month in book sales. A lot of those books drove people to my blog where they purchased additional things as well.

That’s why I like kindle so much. It doesn’t take any previous knowledge, you don’t need to know marketing, you don’t have to write your own books, or design any covers. It also gives you the ability to expand into different business models like affiliate marketing. In a perfect world, you’d want your kindle books to send people to your different affiliate offers.

How To Escape The Rat Race

How To Escape The Rat Race And Make Passive Income

/ by / Tags:

Want to know how to escape the rat race? CLICK HERE TO LEARN HOW TO START YOUR OWN ONLINE BUSINESS.

Looking to get out of the rat race?

If you’ve read the book Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki you’d know all about being stuck in the “Rat Race” and the way to get out is by creating passive income streams. In the book, Roberts talks about people being stuck in the never ending financial cycle of working a 9-5, owning a home and living paycheck to paycheck.

Once you get in the rat race it’s SUPER hard to get out because most people just focus on working harder, working longer and trying to make more money. That’s NOT the solution. The reason is that when you work more you earn more BUT you’ll also pay more tax and MOST people end up spending more.

 How do you get out?

Obviously, the best way is to start young, educate yourself and NEVER get in it in the first place. But the good news is that it IS possible to escape.

How To Escape The Rat Race

Before we get into escaping the rat race we need to know why people get into it in the first place. Here’s the cashflow quadrant Robert talks about in the book:

95% of the population is on the left side of the quadrant. If you want to escape the rat race and become wealthy you need to get to the right side. You need to become a business owner (NOT self-employed) or investor. Having a job or creating yourself a job is NOT the solution. If you’re on the left side, the money will stop when you stop working. On the right side, the money will continue whether you work or not.

A business owner is someone who OWNS a business but doesn’t necessarily work IN the business. This is done by hiring people or leveraging a system. An example of a business owner would be having an internet business and outsourcing most of the day to day stuff. An example of a system would be recommending MCA to people who want to start a business or Online Sales Pro for people who want to grow their business.

Another thing that determines whether or not you’ll end up in the rat race is the way you manage money. Here’s what the rich do vs the poor and middle class:

The cash flow process of the poor and middle class (left):

  1. Income is earned through a job (salary).
  2. Salary is used to buy liabilities (house, car, eating out).
  3. Liabilities become expenses.
  4. Income is left over.

The cash flow process of the rich (right):

  1. Rich people buy assets (rental property, stocks, businesses).
  2. Assets provide passive income that covers expenses.
  3. Income is earned through assets.
  4. Use that income to buy more assets.

An easy way to look at assets and liabilities is: “Assets put money into your pocket and liabilities take money out.” Rich buy assets…poor buy liabilities.

You need to learn how to leverage your time and stop trading your time for money. Learn how to make your money work for you. The best way for 95% of people is to be a business owner.

A business owner is someone who has a system that provides recurring passive income each month on autopilot. The money will come in whether or not you’re working. There’s a lot of ways to become a business owner but the easiest way (in my opinion) is leveraging the internet.

It’s insane how many millionaires the internet has created over the past 10 years. It’s not going anywhere anytime soon and if you learn how to use it you can become insanely wealthy.

If you want to see how I make passive income online you can CLICK HERE but here’s the general overview:

  • I create content (videos and articles) about entrepreneurship and publish them on the internet. The content is created ONCE, teaches people how to do something and will be there forever.
  • People will read and watch my content, they’ll learn about my products, services, and books (which I created ONCE) and some of them will become customers.

More content equals more visitors equals more money. If I go on vacation for 2 months my content will still be out there making sales. That’s the power of the internet. The entire goal is to create enough passive income to cover expenses. When that happens you have freedom.

How To Get Started?

If you have a job, what you need to do is start a side hustle to create some passive income. From 6pm-12am and weekends, you need to be working on your business. If you put in the time and effort you’ll eventually get to the point of being financially free.

It’ll be challenging but don’t you think it’d be worth it? It’s completely up to you…if you’re satisfied where you’re at that’s cool but if not, DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!

I’ve seen regular everyday people escape the race, so I know it’s possible. I’ve seen people make a 4-figure monthly passive income within 4 months. I’ve seen people quit their job because their business is making more income. A great place to start making passive income online is MCA.

That’s one of my favorite passive income streams right now but there’s a lot of different ones out there. Click the link below to learn more or leave a comment below.

How To Create An Online Business That Makes Money 24/7

How To Create An Online Business That Makes Money 24/7

Interested in learning how to create an online business that makes money 24/7? CLICK HERE TO LEARN HOW TO START YOUR OWN ONLINE BUSINESS.

In this post, I’m going to be going over the framework and sales process I’ve used to grow my online business to make a full-time income online. I didn’t make this up myself but it clearly works because almost every successful person online is using this formula.

The great thing about this formula is that it works for ANY type of business out there. It will work if you’re selling information products, physical products, affiliate products or basically anything else out there. I’ll even go into examples from my own business to give you a better idea.

How To Create An Online Business That Makes Money 24/7

Next, I’m going to go over the steps in the sales process and how each works. I’ve used all these in my business and almost every single successful product/business uses it too. It doesn’t matter what business or niche you’re in, this will work for you. Here’s what the process looks like:

The first step is getting traffic to your “free stuff” through blogging, Youtube, paid ads, social media, etc. You start building your brand and following through providing free content, then people will join your email list, then you can send them down the sales process (low ticket, core, complimentary, high ticket).

Free Stuff

This is the foundation of your business. This is what attracts people to you and your business that will lead to them purchasing your paid offers. Without some sort of “free stuff” it’s pretty hard to attract a large number of customers. Free stuff is in the form of content, such as blog posts, Youtube videos, podcast, social media, etc.

By putting out free content teaching or helping people do something it will start building your credibility and people will start getting to know, like and trust you. You can see examples of this here on my blog, on my Youtube channel, on my Facebook page or on Instagram.

The whole idea of this free content is to build your brand, build trust and likeability, and then build your email list. You want to have some sort of free giveaway to offer people in exchange for their email address. Examples are eBooks, video, PDF, etc. After they’re on your email list you can offer them promotions and that’s how you monetize. Just remember that it’s pretty tough to get people to give you something (money) if you don’t give them anything (content).

Low Ticket Offer

The next step is to have a low ticket product to offer people. This offer should be under $50 and it should provide A LOT of value to the customer. By getting someone to pull out their wallet and make a purchase, you’re separating the buyers from tire kickers.

In my case, I have 2 low ticket offers which are Online Sales Pro and MCA. I recommend OSP to people looking to grow their business and MCA for peolpe looking to make money online.

OSP is a software and training company that teaches people how to grow their business online by generating leads and also how to make money as an affiliate marketer. Online Sales Pro is a $37/month product.

MCA is a roadside assistance service with an awesome opportunity to make money as a reseller. It costs $20/month and anytime you refer someone you get $80.

If you’ve done a good job providing value from the free stuff, selling a low ticket offer shouldn’t be too hard. People will naturally want to learn more from you and often times this product is a no-brainer.

Core Offer

A lot of the time if you’re running paid advertising, the low ticket offer is used to break even. The core offer is where you start making a good profit. This is why it’s important to have an additional upsell. The core product should be similar to your low ticket offer and be way more in-depth.

This will be your main product and should be priced somewhere between $50-$200. It can be a physical product if you’re in that niche or a training program if you have an internet business. For a training program, the product should teach someone start to finish how to achieve a certain result.

In my case, my core offer is a Kindle Publishing training program. This program teaches people step by step how to create an online publishing business on Amazon. It teaches how to research, outsource, publish and market your Kindle, paperback and audio books.

The best way to sell your core offer is to overdeliver on your free and low ticket product. If you do, a lot of people will want more and purchase your core. Make sure you provide MORE than expected and it actually gets results.

Complimentary Offer

After someone purchases your low ticket or core offer you can provide them with some complimentary products to help them get the desired result. This can be your own or affiliate offers. Affiliate products are when you sell someone else’s product and receive a commission.

Offering some sort of software is a great thing to offer someone as a complimentary product. For example, I recommend some Kindle publishing software to save time and make the process easier. Another example is when I recommend Online Sales Pro software to help affiliate marketers generate more leads by using landing pages and sales funnels.

What’s important to remember is you DON’T want to say “Buy This Software” right after they make a purchase. You want to give them value FIRST and then offer the software as a faster and easier way.

High Ticket Offer

If the customer gets results with what you were offering, a good percentage of them will want more. This is where your high ticket offer comes into play. This is what’s going to bring in the profits. This product should be at least $200 and could be as high as a few thousand. You could also have a monthly recurring product as well.

Some people will want more advanced training from you, want to work with you 1-on-1 or want a done-for-you system. Another reason I promote Online Sales Pro is that they have 2 additional upsells after the low ticket offer. The first is a $297 product and the second is a $997 product. I receive 54% on each.

You could also offer to coach or consult as your high ticket offer. If you’re knowledgeable in a certain area you can offer either 1-on-1 or group coaching. You don’t have to have a high ticket offer when you’re first starting out but if you want to scale to 6-figures and beyond it’s highly recommended.

This sales process will work for any niche or market you’re in. The key is to put out high-quality content (both free and paid), focus on serving your customers and building relationships. Pretty much ALL successful businesses follow a model like this (Apple and Amazon for example).

If big companies like this are doing it and seeing results, maybe you should too?

What I’d Do If I Had To Start All Over Again

/ by / Tags:

In this post, I wanted to cover what I’d do if I had to start all over again. What if my blog was gone. The list was gone. Sites are gone. I’ve been getting asked this a bit so I wanted to share what I’d do to start over again.

The first thing I wanted to say was that success is more mindset than it is techniques. A lot of millionaires aren’t afraid to lose everything because they know what it takes to get it back. Why is it that a lot of lottery winners end up broke again after a couple years? It’s because they had bad habits and never developed the right money mindset.

Same thing in business. If millionaires lose everything, they skill have their habits and knowledge to go out and get it all back. So this means it’s super important to work on yourself just as much as you do on your business.

What I’d Do Starting Over

First, if I was starting over I wouldn’t start with a blog. I didn’t start my blog to make money. I started my blog to share what I was working on. It took a long time before my blog starting getting visitors and that’s why I wouldn’t start with it. I’d be looking for a way to make money quick.

There are 2 options I’d look at:

Option #1: If I had some money and knowledge in a specific area I’d create my own product. I’d create a free giveaway (ebook, video, PDF) to start building my list. Then I’d create a paid program that expands on the stuff in the free giveaway. The first paid program would be under $100 and then I’d create a more expensive product with advanced training or 1-on-1 training ($300+).

Option #2: If I didn’t have much money, knowledge, or if I was brand new again I’d join a network marketing company or become a reseller to a company like MCA. I would NOT become an affiliate to products on Clickbank or Jvzoo. The reason is that I’d only get credit for 1 initial sale and the customer wouldn’t belong to me. The benefit of MCA is that:

  • I get paid a 200% commission
  • I get a commission when my referrals refer someone else
  • I get monthly recurring commissions

There you have it…

Those are the 2 options I’d look at if I was starting all over again. I’d probably start with option #2 because results would be a lot quicker. With #1 it would take a bit of time creating everything so that’s why I’d just take advantage of a product already created.

How To Choose The Best Products To Promote

/ by / Tags:

In this post, I cover the process I go through to determine how to choose the best products to promote on the internet to make the most money possible. It’s super important to promote the right products online because if you don’t you could destroy your brand or leave a lot of money on the table.

There’s a lot of reasons why you shouldn’t promote most products out there and I’ll cover those in a sec, but there are 3 types of products out there. They are:

  1. Products I don’t use and don’t recommend.
  2. Products I don’t use and do recommend.
  3. Products I use and recommend.

The first one consists of products I have never used, looked at or tested. These are the thing’s I DON’T promote because I have no experience with them. If I refer someone to a product and it’s complete garbage they’ll link that back to me and never buy again.

The second one is something I’ve looked at and see value from it or something from a person I know and trust. Even though I never used the product I know it will be quality and could help others.

The last one is products or services I actually use in my business and recommend to others. These are my favorite products because I know and understand how they work and the benefit they provide. My favorite product to promote that I use is Online Sales Pro for building landing pages, MCA for making money, Nowlifestyle for an autoresponder, and Bluehost for website hosting.

Criteria For Best Products To Promote

  1. Make sure it’s a money-maker. The first thing you need to make sure is that you can actually make decent money promoting a product. With Internet products you normally get around 50% commission so make sure the product is priced high enough or has a recurring payment.
  2. Make sure the product has upsells you’ll get credit for. If you promote Amazon products you’ll get a commission on the initial sale but after that Amazon owns the customer and if they sell them the second item you WON’T get credit. Find products that have an initial offer and then are upsold complimentary higher ticket products you’ll also get credit for. The way you build a real long term business is to have repeat customers and this is the way you do that.

The reason you want a product that offers additional upsells is that you’ll increase the lifetime customer value of everyone you bring in. When higher priced products are offered after the initial sale you have the potential to make a lot more money. It’s way easier to sell 1x $1000 product than it is to sell 100x $10.

The product I use that fits these criteria is called MCA.

The great thing about MCA is that I get a 200% commission every time I refer someone to the program. I also get paid every time my referrals make a sale. And the final reason I promote them is that I get a recurring monthly commission as well.

If this sounds like something you might be interested in my recommendation would be to give MCA a try for 30-days, see if it works for you and if not, get your money back. Simple as that.

How To Make Money Online With ZERO Investment

How To Make Money Online With ZERO Investment

Want to learn How To Make Money Online With ZERO Investment?I get asked this question a lot and finally decided it was time to give my opinion.

I get asked this question a lot and finally decided it was time to give my opinion.

Long story short, the answer is yes. In this post, I want to break down how to make your first dollar online without spending a dime. In my opinion, the fastest and easiest way to start making money online is through kindle publishing.

Kindle publishing is fast and easy because it doesn’t take much (if any) capital, and you can start getting paid hours after putting your kindle book for sale.

I go over my strategy more in depth in my training program Self Publishing Assignment, but in this post, I wanted to give a general overview of how it works.

How To Make Money Online Without Spending A Dime

If you’re looking to start making a passive income online you’re in the right place. Even though it’s possible, it’s not the most effective way.

First, let me explain how to start making money with kindle publishing.

1. Strategy

Even though investing in a course to show you step by step is a faster option, it’s definitely possible to do it on your own. I’d recommend you not just jump right into it because you’ll probably make some mistakes.

If you’re gonna do it on your own you’ll want to watch a few YouTube videos or blog posts about certain strategies BEFORE you create the book.

Learn how to find profitable niches and keywords and you should be fine.

2. Niche

The most important step is finding a profitable niche and keyword to create a book on. Sometimes what YOU think will sell well actually does the opposite.

The first thing you need to do is look for topics in demand. Then create a book about that topic. It won’t matter how good your book is…if nobody is looking for it, it won’t sell.

This is super important. You need to look for niches that are in high demand with lower competition. Some topics are heavily saturated and you might not be able to rank for it.

So, how do you find a good topic?

Type in Google “Amazon best sellers list” and go into the “Kindle Book” category. Look into each niche and look at the top 100 books. Make sure the #100 book has a best sellers rank (in the product description) of at least 100,000 or less.

A book ranked at 100,000 and is priced at $2.99 (price our book will be at) will make around $50/month.

Let’s say you find the topic “Paleo Diet” is popular. Go to the search bar and type in “Paleo Diet”. Look at books on the first page. If all the books have 100+ reviews you probably won’t be able to rank for that topic. If some books have under 20 reviews that could be a good topic to write about.

3. Write Book

Even if you’re NOT good at writing, it’s pretty simple to write a book. I got C’s all through school in English and I have quite a few books for sale that I wrote. The great thing is that these books are short (5000-10,000 words). These ARE NOT full-length novels. Simple books that teach someone how to do something.

As long as your book helps solve a problem, it won’t matter how long it is. Like everything else, getting good at something takes time and effort, so don’t stress it at the start. If you really don’t wanna write a book you can outsource it for $50-100. Someone else will research, write, and edit it for you. Sites like is where I get writers.

How do you know what to write about?

Simply go to Amazon and look at other books in the same niche. Write down all the different chapters in each book. Pick a few chapters you’d want in your book and do some research on Google and YouTube. DON’T copy….just get chapter ideas.

4. Create Cover

You now have to come up with a title for your book and design the cover. The main title should be the primary keyword you want to rank for. For example, “Paleo Diet For Beginners” then have a good catchy subtitle that explains what the book will have in it.

There’s a lot of great free places you can design your cover. I’d recommend, but I always outsource my covers on for only $5. Up to you though. Look at best-selling covers to get some ideas.

5. Publish Book

Your book is done and your cover is designed. Now you have to go to, create a free account and publish your book. You’ll add the book info, upload the file and cover, and it’ll be for sale within 12 hours.

There’s a lot that goes into promoting your book but once you get the hang of it, it’s pretty simple. What you need to do is publish the book for $0.99 and get as many sales as possible in the first 7 days. Schedule your 5-day free promotion and then up the price to $2.99.

I go into more depth in my Self Publishing Assignment course but these are the 5 steps to creating and making money from your kindle book.

If you follow these 5 steps and test and experiment with different techniques you will start making money. Or you could just learn from someone who knows what it takes to succeed.

If You Want The Fast Way

I understand that a lot of people aren’t able to invest in a training program but it is without a doubt the fastest way to see results. Learning from an expert will fast-track your way to success. You’re either gonna invest time or invest money, so it’s really up to you.

If you try things on your own you’ll most likely fail with the first few books. What it takes to be successful is to be persistent with it. Learn what you do wrong, learn new strategies, and apply them again and again.

I’ve tried both ways and I’d never go back to trial and error. No matter what I do I always invest and pay someone to teach me. I invested in a kindle program, I outsourced the majority of my books and covers, and I outsourced the day-to-day tasks of my business.

So what I recommend is to invest in a program IF you can. If you can’t, start doing a lot of research on Google and YouTube, create a few books, and then invest the money you make into your education.

Learn to work smarter, not harder if you want to be successful.

The 4 Hour Work Week Book Review

The 4 Hour Work Week Book Review

In this post, I’m going to do the 4 hour work week book review and what I thought about the book. The 4 hour work week is a book by Tim Ferriss and basically goes over how to create your dream lifestyle, quit the 9-5 grind, and like the title says…work 4 hours a week.

The whole concept seems kinda cool. I mean, being able to work 4 hours per week while money comes pouring into your bank account while you’re sitting at the beach. Sign me up right?

Who wouldn’t want that kind of lifestyle…

Here are the main topics Tim covers in the book:

– How to outsource your life to overseas virtual assistants for $5 per hour and do whatever you want?
– How blue-chip escape artists travel the world without quitting their jobs?
– How to eliminate 50% of your work in 48 hours using the principles of a forgotten Italian economist?
– How to trade a long-haul career for short work bursts and freuent “mini-retirements”?
– What the crucial difference is between absolute and relative income?
– How to train your boss to value performance over presence, or kill your job (or company) if it’s beyond repair?
– What automated cash-flow “muses” are and how to create one in 2 to 4 weeks?
– How to cultivate selective ignorance-and create time-with a low-information diet?
– What the management secrets of Remote Control CEOs are?
– How to get free housing worldwide and airfare at 50-80% off?
– How to fill the void and create a meaningful life after removing work and the office.

But here’s the thing…is it really possible to live the 4 hour work week?

Even though this is one of my all-time favorite books, living the 4 hour work week is a complete fantasy, and I’m gonna tell you why this won’t work for you.

I’m sure some people will disagree with me, but I couldn’t really care less what they think. I’m here to tell things from my perspective, so take it or leave it.

Again, this book is one of my all time favorite books…BUT it’s not because of the 4 hour part.

The 4 Hour Work Week Book Review: Why I Liked The Book

The 4 hour work week was the second business book I read and it’s what really got me interested in having an online business and wanting to become a lifestyle entrepreneur. I liked the idea of having a business where I could travel the world, quit the 9-5 grind, and have automated cash flow…but the 4-hour thing seemed kinda far fetched.

But even though it seemed like it was too good to be true, the real value I got from this book was sparking the entrepreneurial interest and getting started online. Before this book, I’d always thought I’d have my own business, but the plan was to always have some sort of brick and mortar or startup business. Looking back it was a good thing because that’s not what I wanted whatsoever.

I liked the idea of outsourcing certain tasks of my business overseas so I could have more time doing income producing activities in my business. Pretty much, I thought every part of this book was awesome EXCEPT the fact that you could do this while working only 4 hours per week…especially at the start.

The 4 Hour Work Week Book Review: Why It’s A Complete Fantasy

So why do I think the 4 hour work week concept is a complete fantasy?

The first thing I’ll say is that it’s not completely impossible to live the 4 hour work week. There are 2 situations when it’s possible. It’s definitely possible to work only 4 hours every week on your business (it’s even possible to work 2 hours…) but I can almost guarantee that for 99% of people out there, they won’t get the results they’re looking for. The second situation is for someone who’s been hustling hard for years and can finally sit back and see the benefits of their hard work.

But the big takeaway here is that when you’re starting out you’re going to need to hustle hard to learn all the in’s and out’s of your business, to create content, build your brand, and create relationships.

It’s crazy how many people out there think that this concept is a reality and they’ll join, throw a bit of money into paid ads, sit on the beach sippin’ pina colada’s, and collecting paycheques…

And even though I’ve talked about working a couple hours per week on my business before, that’s only because I put in hundreds of hours before learning and mastering the process. But I wanted bigger and better things and I wanted to expand my business, so that’s why I’m putting in a lot more than 4 hours each week.

I guess what I’m saying is that you can work 4 hours per week on your business, but if you’re just starting out you’ll get crushed by the guy working 40 hours per week. It’s all about momentum…the more you can create quickly, the more benefits you’ll see later.

The funny thing is that Tim Ferriss actually spends a lot more than 4 hours per week on his business. Think about this…the more time he spends doing his podcast, doing interviews, and appearing on TV the more copies he’ll sell. In my opinion, the 4 hour work week is just something to make you start thinking outside the box and showing you that you don’t need to join the 9-5 grind.

Going back to why it’s a myth to live the 4 hour work week…for the majority of people who work only 4 hours on their business, over time their income will either plateau or start falling. In most cases, they’ll get too comfortable with the lifestyle and start neglecting their business. I know from experience because it happened to me while I was making 5-6k per month. I got too comfortable and wasn’t growing my business like I should have.

Do Something You’re Passionate About

The way I look at things now is that you need to find something you enjoy doing. If you enjoy doing something why would you spend only 4 hours a week doing it…

Find something you enjoy doing so much that it doesn’t even feel like work. That’s where I’m at right now. I don’t feel like what I’m doing is work. I could spend 8-10 hours per day doing this and not get tired. And once you find something you’re passionate about, you’ll start seeing the results you’re after once you start putting in the time and effort.

If you’re trying to live the 4 hour work week lifestyle, you’ll have to be willing to put in 40+ hours each week for years BEFORE you should expect that kinda lifestyle.

This is what a lot of people don’t realize with the whole thing. It’s not gonna be easy. You need to hustle and grind if you expect to see results. But if you’re willing to do that it’s definitely worth it.

The 4 Hour Work Week Book Review: What To Do Now

What I want you to realize from this post is that hard work should never be overlooked. You may have some decent results working only a few hours but I can guarantee that it won’t be sustainable long term.

You need to start focusing long term and building a sustainable business. The more effort you put in the more you’ll get out. So many people preach the laptop lifestyle, sitting on the beach, etc…but the one thing they don’t talk about is the work and hustle it takes to get there.

People always talk about if you have a positive mindset, set goals, and results will come. That is complete BS. If you don’t put in the grind it’s not going to matter how positive you think…you won’t succeed.

Thinking positive does help a lot, but thinking positive doesn’t produce results. Hard work does.

So if you’re one of those people who want the 4-hour lifestyle without doing the work part, don’t even bother getting started because you’ll waste your time and money.

But if you’re willing to put in the work at the start, learn everything you can, develop your mindset, and take action, you will never look back…

Hope you enjoyed this post about The 4 Hour Work Week Book Review!
